Dear Friends,
In this current health crisis with COVID-19, our primary concern at HFSC is and always has been the health and wellness of our community members. This Red Tie is a mosaic of #HFSC community members who provide our strength and backbone to endure. It is a symbol of how we are connected. Being connected with each other is more important than ever. While we may be practicing social distancing, staying healthy means not falling into an unhealthy pattern of social isolation and trying to remain active. Our goal is to keep you as informed and engaged as possible.
Due to recommendations by the CDC, the CA Department of Public Health and Governor Newsom, we must cancel all our in-person events for the next 8 weeks. Thank you for your patience as we determine what events can be postponed and rescheduled and what events can be moved to a virtual online space. We will keep you posted via email and social media!
The HFSC staff will be working remotely so the best way to contact us is by email at info@hemosocal.org. You can still leave a message at 626-765-6656 but please allow 2-3 business days for a return call (sorry this is longer than usual). We anticipate an increase of financial assistance requests as some families may endure reduced work and pay. Please see additional resources listed below.
Again, we are thinking of all of you, please stay safe and healthy and do not hesitate to reach out to us.
Michelle, Laura, Michele, Cynthia & Casey
